We’ve been invited to join a trip organised by Eastbourne Historic Motor Club and Hooe Old Motor Club to The Giants of Brede – a Victorian pumping station in East Sussex between Hastings, Rye and Battle.
It’s on Saturday 22 July, meeting at 10am at Brede.
Those who attended the GCCG’s AGM earlier this year at Crossness in South East London will know about the amazing engineering and architecture at such places.

There will be a small cost for the visit – the more participants, the lower the cost.
If you’re interested please let me know as soon as possible – and at least by 15 July to ensure there is adequate cake, or at least that’s what I’ve been told. 
If there are enough takers from the GCCG, we might be able to add on something for the rest of the day.
