The Motorist has established itself to be the go to venue of the North for Classic Car events, hosting YouTube classic car sensations such as HubNut and Furious Driving. They appreciate the value of Diversity Equity and inclusion and have made a stand to hold the first National Pride event to be held at this type of venue.
The event will start officially at 1pm, but being a busy venue, there is an event on in the morning (Collecting Cars) which anyone can attend.
We are aware many are travelling up, the Motorist and their new Arnage restaurant and bar will be open, along with the Blue train Café, serving hot and cold food and drinks. We have also arranged a drive out before the event, using a new app to share the route on a mobile device. Rally Roadbook reader is available free of charge on Google play and Apple Store. The route will be shared on the GCCG website and will also be available to share on the day. The run is just over an hour, along some stunning countryside, with some interesting places to call into if you wish.
This is a Motorist organised event and will be open to anyone, both GCCG members and not members, LGBTQ+ and allies. We are hoping the weather will hold out and for an enjoyable gathering.
