The GCCG had a fantastic day out at the Scottish Vintage Bus Museum’s show in Lathalmond. The atmosphere throughout the day was brilliant, with a huge turnout of exhibitors and visitors making it one of the busiest and most enjoyable shows we’ve attended in a while.
Our stand attracted lots of attention from the general public and, in my opinion, had the best variety of cars on display! The biggest crowd favourites included Harry and Andrew’s iconic Citroën XM (think Ronin), Lewis Dickson’s sublime and super-rare Lancia Gamma Berlina, and Duncan’s ‘little’ Cadillac Coupe de Ville. Callum’s stunningly green Polo must also receive mention, JR’s Minx too.
It was great to see so much interest in both the cars and the club, and the event was another brilliant reminder of how welcoming and enthusiastic the classic car community can be.
A big thank-you to everyone who displayed their vehicles and took part in the stand. As always, it’s the people who make these events so enjoyable.
Special mention to fellow AO Andrew Sinclair, who did an outstanding job organising the GCCG club stand and making sure everything was set up perfectly for the day – which helped make the whole day a pure joy for its participants.
