What is Eurotour?
Eurotour is an annual event hosted in rotation by GCCG or one of our European sister clubs. It normally involves a weekend long event held in that group's country or occasionally a neighbouring one.
Previous destinations have included:
- The Netherlands
- Germany
- Italy
- Switzerland
- Denmark
- The UK
The events normally comprise of a Friday evening welcome, meal and social. A Saturday and Sunday of organised driving routes, visits to places of interest, meals and evening events. Monday morning is often a farewell breakfast before attendees head home.
A lot of members extend the weekend, either at the same hotel or breaking up the journey to or from the event at other places of interest.
Many GCCG members go on these international events and share driving with others or just come along for the ride (car tarting).
