The icing on the cake was David’s car, Monty, being selected as one of just ten cars—out of the many hundreds on display—to line up in front of the castle for the finale, where the audience and fellow exhibitors voted for the car they would most like to take home.

We had a great stand at The Bromley Pageant Of Motoring today. Everything from a 1934 Rolls Royce and a 1938 Wolseley to a 2001 Smart car and 2004 Rover 45 and everything in-between.

We then took some of our cars around the arena and talk about them to the public.

Reading this quarter’s edition of Big End, the GCC

Reading this quarter’s edition of Big End, the GCCG magazine, you could be forgiven for thinking that to be a club member you need to own a Rolls-Royce, Jensen or Bentley. Nothing could be further from the truth, as you can see here. The combined engine capacities of these four lovelies is less than the famous 6750cc of a single Silver Spirit.

GCCG is a multi-marque club so whether you own an Aston or an Astra, a Ferrari or a Fiat, A Duesenberg or Datsun, you’ll receive a warm welcome when you join. (Only £17.50 per annum!)

This coming-together took place in 2023 when GCCG hosted Eurotourin 2023, Eurotour de Yorkshire. The club is honoured to be hosting Eurotour in 2028. Plans are in the very early development stage and further details will not be known for a while yet.
