The GCCG visits the Great British Car Journey!
In a joint event between the West Midlands and East Midlands regions, we are visiting the Great British Car Journey museum at Ambergate, Derbyshire.
The Great British Car Journey celebrates the British car industry through the decades from its inception up to the modern day. Please visit the museum’s website for more information. We will be offered discounted entry to the museum, payable on the day.
Both regions will have its own breakfast meet ahead of convening for the afternoon at the museum, followed by dinner at The Clock Warehouse pub at Shardlow where the East Mids social meets are usually held.
You’re welcome to either breakfast meet, dinner or just the museum. Please follow the link below to confirm your attendance.
West Midlands breakfast meet:
Meeting at The Hedgehog, Stafford Road, Lichfield WS13 8JB from 9.30am
East Midlands breakfast meet:
Meeting at Carsington Water Visitor Centre cafe, Ashbourne DE6 1ST from 10.30am
Great British Car Journey
Arriving at around 12.30pm
PARKING – we have dedicated parking at the rear of the site – mention you’re with the GCCG to the parking stewards (red jackets) when you arrive and they will direct you.
Dinner
Held at The Clock Warehouse pub, Shardlow DE72 2GL (the regular East Mids social venue) at 5.00pm.
