A few months ago, the Chair had a very useful conversation with Richard Morris from Racing Pride, kindly set up by Mark Wells, on how we can support one another's activities and aspirations. We spoke about Track Day activities, Shows, Exhibitions, Motorsport Event hosting and corporate membership for Racing Pride to cement our goals.
So, the first steps were taken with a track day event at Snetterton on the 18th August to kick things off with Racing Pride with the GCCG and SVH Events as the event management to cover MSA regulations.
The aim of the event was to introduce GCCG club members to track day events and develop a working relationship with another LGBT+ motoring focused organisation to expanded the club’s portfolio of activities and relationships. Thus, increase the range of future opportunities for club members.
As the afternoon event was a great successful it has paved the way forward for a whole day event in the future.
