VE DAY 80 Years On

West Midlands members, Gareth Kerr and John Davies,
brought out the bunting and the period costume for our
monthly meet in May. They were, of course, paying their
tribute in celebration and commemoration of the 80th
anniversary of VE Day. Indeed, they have plenty to celebrate
at the moment. Their Armstrong Siddley Hurricane was
taking its rst public trip out after a full engine rebuild,
completed entirely by John and Gareth in their garage at
home. And in July, the champagne will be owing as we
celebrate their marriage. Congratulations to Gareth and
John from all in the GCCG! Xx
